Storyline
When a toy-breaking incident between two 7-year-old girls ignites racial tensions between their families, both Black and Asian parents must confront their biases as their daughters try to restore peace.
The primary message of this story is that prejudice and racial tensions are often perpetuated by adults, but children possess the ability to overcome these biases and see commonalities in one another. Through the eyes of two 7-year-old girls, the story demonstrates how innocence and friendship can bridge cultural divides, even in the face of escalating racial hostilities between their families.
