Storyline
Tailor-Made is a psychological horror about guilt, identity, and the cost of self-erasure. After the accidental death of his wife, Elliot is consumed by grief and unable to face the man he’s become. In a desperate attempt to escape, he visits a mysterious tailor who offers more than clothing — he offers new skin. Elliot chooses a face that feels safe, unaware it once belonged to a predator. When a stranger recognizes him, Elliot is thrust into a nightmare of mistaken identity, hunted for sins he didn’t commit. As he loses grip on reality, Elliot begins to question whether the guilt he’s running from was ever his — or if the skin he wears is rewriting who he is. In the end, with devastating consequences, he realizes the truth was never in the face — it was in what he refused to confront.
Roles
Role type | Role | Gender & Age range |
Lead | Elliot | Male 28 - 35 Years old |
Description A man consumed by guilt and grief after his wife’s death, for which he is responsible in an abusive manner. Quiet, haunted, and emotionally imploding. He is a twisted man who victimizes himself, yet feels the guilt of his sins. Elliot seeks escape through physical transformation and ends up from withdrawn numbness to full-blown psychological breakdown. Actors should be comfortable with simulated prosthetics/blood and physical choreography under the guidance of a stunt coordinator. Should be comfortable with intimacy under the guidance of an intimacy coordinator.
Role type | Role | Gender & Age range |
Lead | The Tailor | Male 45 - 65 Years old |
Description Mysterious, calm, unsettling. The tailor speaks a few words but commands deep presence. He is both practical and philosophical — helping people disappear, but without pity. He is rooted in stillness, control, and ambiguity. He has seen people try to run away from their past but he knows at the end, it is going to catch up to them, someway or the other. He is accustomed to it. He is a medium for karma.
Role type | Role | Gender & Age range |
Supporting | The Man | Male 35 - 50 Years old |
Description A grieving father who believes Elliot is the man who harmed his daughter. Burnt-out, controlled rage until it snaps. He regrets not being able to save his daughter and carries the emotional weight of it. He tries to use physical aggression and revenge as a way of coping up with his loss and guilt. He has a big overpowering physicality to him. Actors should be comfortable with physical choreography under the guidance of a stunt coordinator.
Role type | Role | Gender & Age range |
Supporting | Celine | Female 26 - 35 Years old |
Description A bartender who connects briefly with Elliot. Curious, grounded, and warm — but emotionally distant. Appears in a few scenes that create contrast between the new identity Elliot adopts and the truth he can’t escape. She becomes a relief point for Elliot. Should be comfortable with intimacy under the guidance of an intimacy coordinator.
Role type | Role | Gender & Age range |
Supporting | Maria | Female 26 - 35 Years old |
Description Elliot’s deceased wife. Appears in flashbacks and voiceover during Elliot’s mental breakdown. Warm, loving, but also emotionally intense. Requires powerful voice performance and presence in limited screen time. |
