Storyline
When acclaimed mystery novelist Allie Chandler returns to her seaside hometown of Founders Cove for a writers' convention, she's reluctantly drawn into a real-life whodunit after her longtime friend and critic Nash Gilbert falls to his death under suspicious circumstances. Clashing with brash true-crime podcaster Andi Wallace, the two women form an unlikely investigative duo, uncovering secrets, suspects, and buried scandals—including ghostwriting schemes and blackmail—in their search for the killer. As the clues mount and a surprising arrest is made, Allie and Andi realize they may have only just scratched the surface of a far more tangled mystery.
