We can accept union and non-union actors through our student agreement with ACTRA. No permit is required. Actors will receive a copy of the finished film for their demo reel. Meals are provided and transport to set is covered within the GTA.
Storyline
When David, an arrogant and unsuccessful sculptor, becomes jealous of his girlfriend Eleanor's corporate success, the clay nose on his sculpture comes to life, slithers down her throat, and warps her mind into a hollow reflection of David’s ego. However, this possession backfires and turns Eleanor into an artistic genius, forcing David to confront his own selfishness and mediocrity head on.

Description Eleanor is a young nine-to-fiver who is perfectly fine with the comfortable, middle-class life she’s building for herself. While her empathy can sometimes dip into passive-aggression, Eleanor tends to go along with David’s manic-depressive behaviour rather than stir the pot. She loves her cat, Toaster, more than anything in the world.Note: This is a physically demanding role, featuring a scene where Eleanor wrestles for an object with her boyfriend David. A professional stunt coordinator will be present on set and during rehearsal. | ||

Description David is more obsessed with looking like an artist than actually making art. A tortured soul worried that he might not actually be a tortured soul, he constantly spirals into himself rather than connecting with Eleanor. Deep down David wants to change, but knows it would require an unbearable level of vulnerability.Note: Must be comfortable being shirtless on camera, and wearing boxers and a t-shirt. This is a physically demanding role, featuring a scene where David wrestles for an object with his girlfriend Eleanor.
