Storyline
When a vocal Indigenous social media advocate goes missing. Her cousin and kokum must team up to defy odds and the clear lack of attention towards missing Indigenous women to find her before it’s too late.
Where the Silence Breaks is about shedding light on a system that constantly lets Indigenous women down. It’s a coming of age, activist story about identity, family and the power of resistance.
