Storyline
Natalie has just moved out of the apartment she once shared with her husband, Will, trying to create distance from a relationship that’s been falling apart. While settling into her new space, she takes a pregnancy test which turns out to be positive. Shaken but hopeful, she reaches out to Will, thinking they can at least have an honest conversation about what comes next. At dinner, it becomes clear nothing has really changed. He undermines Natalie, questions her loyalty, and treats the pregnancy like an inconvenience rather than something real. What Natalie hoped could be a turning point instead confirms everything she’s been avoiding: there’s nothing left to fix. Back home, Natalie processes the encounter alone. What starts as frustration slowly shifts into something more deliberate. The next day, she goes to Will’s house, presenting herself as calm, apologetic, and willing to let things go. He lets his guard down, slipping back into the same dynamic, reinforcing just how little he values her or the situation. This time, Natalie doesn’t argue. Instead, she takes control in a way that permanently ends his influence over her life.
Roles
Role typeRoleGender & Age range
LeadNatalieFemale 23 - 30 Years old
Description
Natalie is polished, controlled, and very aware of how she presents herself. She’s used to maintaining a certain image with perfect nails, nice clothes, everything in place, but it’s mostly a way to keep herself together. Underneath that, she’s been stuck in a relationship where she’s had very little real control, relying on Will financially while feeling emotionally ignored.
Role typeRoleGender & Age range
LeadWillMale 25 - 30 Years old
Description
Will is confident, successful, and very comfortable in the position he’s built for himself. His business is doing well, and he carries that like it justifies everything else. He tends to see relationships in terms of what he provides, especially financially, and doesn’t really engage on a deeper emotional level.
