This 15–20 minute short film is a period psychological horror set in 1892, with coming of age elements and a gradually building thriller atmosphere. The project is intended for festival submission. To maintain time period accuracy, actors must not have dyed hair, fake nails, lash extensions, or overall obvious modern cosmetic enhancements. The production includes light stunt work, such as running through forested areas. Performers must be comfortable speaking English. This is an unpaid production; meals will be provided, and actors will receive screen credit and footage for their reels.
Storyline
A 15 year old girl, Blythe, used to isolation, shifts her time for a new friend she meets, Agatha. Though as she gets to know her through their imaginative play, she realizes her new friend's dark family history may reveal the truth of their friendship.
Their imaginative play is used as an escapism from the real world, this makes their connection blossom quick. Though, slowly Blythe realizes that Agatha isn't who she thinks she is: Agatha is in a cult, with intentions of killing Blythe.
