Storyline
Show description: Adapted from the film screenplay The Grand Seduction by Ken Scott, Tell Tale Harbour is a new large-scale musical comedy that is inspired by Atlantic Canada and the resilient people who proudly live there. Set in a fictional harbour somewhere in Atlantic Canada, the musical tells the story of how a tight-knit community must learn to lie, cheat, con, and perhaps most difficult of all, work together to convince an British doctor to make Tell Tale Harbour his home, and save what’s left of their beloved harbour.

Dr.Chris is engaged and nothing makes his mother happier. Upon his arrival in Tell Tale Harbour we learn that he is unhappy with his pending nuptials and keeps travelling as a Doctor, so he need not face the future planned for him. Contemporary Music Theatre Mezzo Soprano with A Belt/Strong mix to DBorn in Tell Tale Harbour, Kathleen spent her childhood dreaming of the mainland and the many adventures she could have there. While studying botany in Toronto she met Roger and the two quickly fell in love. Sadly, Kathleen's mother fell ill before her final year in school and she was forced back to Tell Tale Harbour to run the family store (the only one in the harbour). When the play begins Kathleen's mother has passed and she is stuck back in Tell Tale Harbour running the store and dreaming of a life on the mainland.
