MARY HAZEL (68) lives in the Juncture, an imaginary neighbourhood in the west side of the city of Toronto. New building constructions pop up everywhere in the area where her home is, and pretty much circle it. Mary’s bungalow is the last property remaining before real estate mogul, MISTER P., (47) can acquire the plot of land needed to build luxurious condos. However, Mary refuses to sell the heirloom inherited from her late father.
When Mister Pi has a pedestrian toll erected on both sides of the tunnel leading to Mary’s house, the former martial artist champion does not get intimidated by those scare tactics and takes matters into her own hands to protect her home, using her wits, her physical abilities and her shopping cart.
