Storyline
This project is intended for film festival submission(isaff, tasveer, south asian film fest etc.) and offers actors rich emotional material, intense dramatic beats, and powerful showcase moments.

PLAN JINN is a tense, character-driven psychological horror exploring generational trauma, autonomy, faith, and the cost of breaking inherited chains. Blending grounded family drama with supernatural folklore, this festival-bound short examines what happens when a daughter refuses to say “yes” and what answers back in the dark.

When 25-year-old Ayesha is pressured into an arranged marriage she doesn’t want, her quiet resistance spirals into something far more dangerous. Desperate to escape, she and her best friend hatch a plan to fake demonic possession hoping superstition will succeed where honesty failed.

But when strange occurrences escalate beyond their control, the line between performance and possession begins to blur. Is Ayesha reclaiming her voice… or has something ancient answered her call?
