Jasmine Davis is a member of the supervillain team, the Conquerors, led by Professor Brainstorm, who plots his revenge after the team’s defeat against the superhero Doctor Fusion. Jasmine, not having much of a social life outside of supervillainy, goes to a speed dating event for metahumans. By what she believes to be chance, she runs into one of Doctor Fusion’s alter egos, Winter Welhaven, undercover to learn Professor Brainstorm’s next plot. As the night goes on, the pair form a genuine connection. At night’s end, Jasmine drugs Winter and takes him back to the Conquerors HQ. The Professor uses a laser to steal Winter’s powers. Unable to bring herself to kill Winter, she talks with him at super speed, learning that Winter’s clone, Franklin, is on his way to rescue him. After a heart-to-heart, agree to go on a real date if they survive. Just as Brainstorm is about to gain Doctor Fusion’s powers, Franklin busts in and fuses with Winter, defeating the Conquerors, allowing Jasmine to escape before the police arrive.
