Poser is angry. It is aggressive and gritty. It is stylized realism. It makes no attempts to give you a sense of hope for Damien. Watching Poser is like watching a car crash. It isn't going to be pretty, but you can't help but watch.

We can accept union and non-union actors through our student agreement with ACTRA. This
is a non-paying student film and no permit is required. Actors will receive a copy of the
finished film for their demo reel.

Meals and beverages will be provided on the shoot days.

A narcissistic male model takes a long hard look at his work. What happens when he finds a flaw? Is the fault in his look, or in his perception? Whatever it is, it must be excised.

Damien, a flawless male model owns the stage as he poses. Later, heading home after another successful shoot, across the subway station Damien notices a cologne advertisement with himself on it. He basks in his vanity. The doors close, his reflection in the window stands between him and his work. The train departs and he is ripped away from himself. The version of him on the ad was smoother, more symmetrical. Perfect. His reflection stares back instead. He's pissed.

And now nothing is the same, he can’t look at himself, he can’t model and he can’t sleep. Damien can’t figure out what is wrong with him no matter how hard he studies himself in the mirror. After a humiliating day in the studio, Damien will allow his self-obsession to become all consuming. Blood will follow when he realizes the fault in his perception may be more than skin deep.
