Storyline
A Canadian stand up comic is busted at the U.S. border for a visa infraction and for his political material about Trump, and is sent to the ICE detention centre in Louisiana.. While there he begins to do his stand up comedy for the other inmates. This upsets the authorities and they send him to the infamous CECOT prison in El Salvador. His comedy there means the warden eventually exiles him to a distant jungle village. There, he meets a woman who matches his lippy demeanour, and ends up not trying to return to Canada, but instead in the local school, teaching English to the children using comic rhymes and riddles.
