DIRECTOR’S NOTE
For these auditions we invite you to bring your true, funny, vulnerable, heartful, authentic-nerdical-clown-selves to the room. What a joy this will be!  We look forward to meeting all of you. 
AUDITION SPACE for Montreal: Our audition space is accessible via our side ramp entrance. Upon arrival, auditioning performers can proceed down the hall. The third-floor studio is accessible via either stairs or an elevator.
There are stairs at the front (public) entrance to our office building. It’s one step outside to the door, and then 10 stairs up to the elevator. There is a street-level accessible elevator at the rear of the building. That entrance is not open to the public, but with advance notice if access is needed for a particular individual, we can plan for them to enter the building that way.
REHEARSAL MODEL
The Theatre intends to use the pro-rated rehearsal model of 2 weeks’ fee pro-rated over 3 engagement weeks, supplemented with Additional Service Payments to allow for a 35-hour work week with 2 days off, for the first 3 weeks of rehearsal.

This funny, spirited, and moving musical follows an intelligent and unique high school student who has recently moved with her family to a suburban town. But life isn’t easy—her parents are preoccupied with their own struggles and seem to have little time for her, and adjusting to a new school brings its own challenges. Despite it all, she remains optimistic and determined to find happiness against the odds. With the help of some new friends, she embarks on an exciting adventure that she hopes will lead to new opportunities.
