Storyline

BABY, an awkward, daydreaming teen, navigates the challenges of adolescence in a turbulent home environment following the death of her parents. Living with her detached and overbearing stepmother, MOMMY LU, BABY finds solace in her roller skates, her vivid imagination, and frequent visits to the local roller rink, Spin City. As BABY tries to make sense of her chaotic world, she encounters both the cruelty and fleeting kindnesses of those around her, all while attempting to carve out her own identity in a world that often overlooks her.
