Roles
Role typeRoleGender & Age range
LeadKyroMale 16 - 18 Years old
Description
Black, Male, 6'4" in height, carmel complexion, a little chubby, Must have Basketball skills, appears 16-18 years old
Scene 1: Imagine it is a warm summer evening. You’ve just finished playing
basketball with your friends, and you’re walking home. The neighborhood is busy,
with people enjoying the evening outside. You’re relaxed, thinking about the game,
maybe smiling or lost in your own thoughts. Suddenly, you notice a car pulling up
beside you. Four masked men get out. Your initial reaction is confusion; you might
think this is a prank or someone you know. Your expression should transition from a
light-hearted, relaxed state to confusion, slowly building to fear as you notice the
guns and the laser pointers targeting you. As you realize what’s happening, fear
overtakes you. Your heart is racing. Show the moment of sheer panic as you try to
run. Beginning to run, you are in terror as you hear shots go off and bullets fly by your
head. Running for about 15 to 20 seconds shows us confusion, fear, panic, pain,
and the will to survive.
Scene 2: You can do this standing up or somehow figure out how to put a camera
facing you as you lay down. Your character was badly injured during a shooting and
is being loaded into an ambulance. You’re looking up and your life flashes before
your eyes as you fall into a deep coma.
