The characters in "Winterover" are brought to life through a unique stylized design. Central to our story is the Ramirez family, reflecting a rich diversity and deep, relatable dynamics. The character performances are based on performance capture of skilled actors, capturing authentic emotion and interaction. Though certain characters have an established ethnicity description as per the narrative content, we are open to a cross spectrum of ethnicities to embody and perform these roles.

LOOK & FEEL The artistic direction goes beyond mere aesthetics, subtly introducing a climate-conspiracy subplot that becomes a pivotal narrative point. As the story progresses, the entwined fates of Earth and Mars emerge, emphasizing ecological themes and the consequences of human actions. This narrative choice is a powerful metaphor, highlighting the repercussions of neglecting Earth's well-being and the unintended outcomes of our activities on distant worlds.
Set in the year 2049, "Winterover" presents the story a U.S. astronaut Natalie Ramirez who is part of the a manned mission to Mars. A mission so fruitless it’s billed as the end of space exploration as we know it. Just when home and reunion with her daughter Sienna and her father Albert seem close, an unprecedented discovery on Mars extends her stay indefinitely. This twist not only revives the mission's significance but also plunges her into a personal crisis. Winterover is Call of the Sea meets Red Matter, with emotionally powerful NPC interactions. It is a game that story seekers who love Firewatch, Heavy Rain and What Remains of Edith Finch have been pining for, as they cross over into new innovative VR gaming.
