Male, late 20s, earnest, hard-working, smart, Paul is one of Fred's reporters who happens to be the first to call in about the breaking story of Tony Kiritsis taking Dick Hall hostage. On the street, his knapsack full of radio equipment, Paul is in the right place at the right time, as he follows Tony, his gun aimed at the back of Dick's head, through the streets, along with the cops. Shocked at the actual sight, Paul is surprised that the police have orders to do nothing and just let the kidnapper walk out of the building with his hostage...RECURRING CAUCASIAN

Male, 30s, a mutton-chopped chain smoker, Clint is the engineer at the news station. In between Fred's news reports, during commercials, Clint has a routine banter with Fred, whom he clearly likes and respects. He sets up the studio for the interview with Tony Kiritsis...RECURRING CAUCASIAN

Female, White, 40s, head of sales, smart, a good team member, Pam sides with station manager Jerry about the fallout from hostage-taker Tony Kiritsis' doing a live interview with Fred. Male, White, 30s, good-natured, fun but on the ball when it comes to the job, O'Brien is one of Fred's reporters at the news station. He's busy typing up copy from Fred and Ben's notes as they all hustle to stay on top of the breaking news story of Tony Kiritsis' taking banker Dick Hall hostage. O'Brien is shocked when station manager Jerry doesn't want to let Tony call in to Fred for a live interview -- to O'Brien, this is a huge story that any other radio station would kill to get...RECURRING CAUCASIAN

When Fred asks if anyone knows someone who works at Meridian Mortgage, Helen speaks up and agrees to talk to one of her friends in the typing pool there. OFFICER DAVID MILLER
Male, 34, trained to be calm and reassuring no matter the circumstances, Officer Miller mans a phone at his desk at the police call center (this is before the days of 911). He can't quite believe what he's hearing when a volatile Tony Kiritsis calls in to say that he's holding a gun at Dick Hall's head, but he stays calm and tries to get as much information out of Tony as he can, confirming the situation with Dick Hall and passing notes to fellow officers as he continues to talk with Tony… CAUCASIAN
PASTOR GREGG
Male, Black, 60s, serene, secure in his ministry, genuine in his desire to help another human being, without fear for his own personal safety, Pastor Gregg sees Tony Kiritsis on the street with hostage Dick Hall. He comes over to see what's going on and reassures Tony of God's love. He also asks Tony to let Dick go and take him in his place… BLACK
OFFICER DWYER
Male, 25, a rookie cop, Officer Dwyer is one of the police officers watching Tony Kiritsis walk his hostage, Dick Hall, down the street, a shotgun pointed to his head. When Dwyer sees Tony reach for another gun in his waistband, he draws his gun and points it at Tony, despite orders from his superiors to leave Tony alone. Dwyer doesn't want to back down, even when Sgt. Folino tells him he can put his gun away… CAUCASIAN
