A youthful man who does not look his age, Phillip is George’s longterm caregiver and eventually revealed to be his husband. A voracious reader, patient and kind — he has watched disease claim love of his life over the past few years. On the whole, Phillip is patient and understanding, but the disease has tested him and we can also see this. He yearns for one last moment of lucidity from his husband whose condition is advanced. (Male, 25-40 years old) Edgar is the Ideal employee. He is complacent with no life outside of work. He is motivated by incentives like titles and tokens promised by the corporation. His life is dedicated to the corporation. His style, music taste, and ethics are corporate. And he is dead-set on a promotion.

(Male, 25-40 years old) Joe is a gentle-natured surfer, artist, traveller and free-spirit. While he may appear to some as some dimwitted stoner, Joe has led a full life - he was a businessman on Wall Street.

(Female, 40-60 years old) Carol is the eyes and ears of all operations. As the receptionist she knows what comes in and out of all business transitions. She’s been working at Hell’s Inc. longer than anybody aside from Satan and has seen it all.

(Male, 40-60 years old) Satan is the ‘Big boss; CEO of Hell’s Inc. He runs the soul-reaping industry like it’s a military operation. Although he is the Big boss of the netherworld, he is a servant to the number graphs of each quarter. Satan worships the numbers more than anything and he is not afraid to lie, manipulate, and cheat his way to raise those numbers.

Julia is a Lebanese-Canadian university student studying journalism. Though shy in demeanor, she is stubborn and has an insatiable curiosity. She lives with her grandfather, whom she takes care of in the wake of his wife’s passing. Her amicable yet distant relationship with him is tested when a sudden revelation about her family’s past pushes Julia to begin asking questions about her family’s past, challenging her understanding of herself and her roots. Meals and beverages will be provided on the shoot days.

Must be fluent in Lebanese Arabic, as all of the dialogue is in Arabic. Antoine is a 71 year-old Lebanese man. Behind his prickly demeanour and abrasive language, lies a thoughtful and humorous personality. However, with his deteriorating health, the passing of his wife and the on-going destruction of his homeland, he has become withdrawn. His granddaughter’s newfound curiosity about their family history is like salting old wounds, pushing him to contend with his past and altering their relationship forever.

Julia’s Canadian university professor, he is passionate about his line of work and eager to pass on his knowledge to the younger generation. Though proud of the reporting he has done in his youth, his time reporting on the Lebanese Civil War has remained a thorn in his side. When Julia questions him about the interpreter he worked with, he is avoidant of the conversation and dismissive towards her.

Elderly woman now dealing with aphasia. While she only has one line, she is onscreen a big majority of the film. She has a minor physical alternation with Andrew, when she stabs his arm with a pen to avoid being killed.

A sneaky nurse with a taste for blood. He has a minor stunt of falling backwards after Meredith stabs him.

The hospital's pragmatic head nurse.

Meredith's stubborn hospital roommate. He enjoys reading Dostoyevsky, and ignoring Andrew's demands that he turns off his light. (The latter he will regret.)

Benson's playful and sassy wife. The two of them bicker about the nutrition value of bland hospital meals.

A determined and talented soccer coach who becomes the owner and head coach of Manhattan United. She's a single mother to Earl and struggles to balance her professional ambitions with her personal life. Marie is resilient, passionate about soccer, and deeply devoted to her son.
