Meng is a committed, loyal wife who builds a strong home foundation in America for the immigrant couple, while trying to maintain her relationship with the heavy weight of Hao's secret sexuality upon her. Although, she is determined that moving to the US will their lives; making her not afraid to step out of her comfort zone with strength and tenacity.
