We’re creating a series of interviews and photos for a biopharmaceutical company that shares the real, lived experiences of people navigating life with IgAN — the good days, the hard days, and everything in between. Eugine is an old-school New York media man: charismatic, sharp, fast-talking, and always chasing the angle that will generate the most clicks. He presents himself as Dani’s champion, claiming he fought to save her job amid company cutbacks. In reality, he’s a calculating opportunist who views people as assets and stories as currency. With a major local story dominating headlines - a boat that has gone missing (introduced in Episode 201), Eugine sees an opportunity to dominate coverage.
