During the Iranian revolution, she was imprisoned for political reasons together with her husband, who was later executed. This PSA is based on the real story of CCVT’s client and will serve as a reenactment of Saeideh’s story. Embodies resilience, despite all of the terrible events that happened to her and her family. Wants to appear brave during the interview, and tries to hold back her emotions. Speaking Farsi is a huge bonus.

An emphatic and respectful woman in her 30s. Volunteer at the Befriending Program at CCVT, which is created to provide support to victims of torture in an informal atmosphere. She is a beginner at her job. Throughout the story, she learns how to show support to Saeideh, while also becoming her closest friend. Caring, compassionate, unexperienced.
