THE DESERTER
25-45, thin lean (there is barely any food in the wasteland and people are starving). Long hair preferred, but not necessary. Scottish, Irish, English accent a plus.
The meeting of the Deserter takes place in the Human Realm — a post-apocalyptic medieval wasteland.
When we meet the Deserter the audience must question weather we are seeing a man, or the ghost of a man. His eyes are glassy. He speaks incoherently, in a daze. We must feel an intensity in his gaze — he holds immense guilt for all the atrocities committed in this life, which has driven him mad. A lost soul in purgatory.
