He’s won employee of the month a half dozen times in the past year. He’s dutiful, innocent and friendly. He’s unknowingly a victim of Jake’s scheme. DAY PLAYER

female, mid to late 30’s, any ethnicity. Selena works in a dilapidated office with several other women taking phone sex calls. She’s particularly good at faking sexual enthusiasm. It’s a job that pays well. She can wear lululemon to work, put her headset on and flip through a magazine while on the job. She should have a great voice for phone sex. DAY PLAYER. mid to late 20’s, white, goth. Aka MOUTH on the party lines. She’s a phone line bully who tries to take Jake down by teasing and humiliating him on the line. She has no fear on the phone line and goes for the jugular when she smells blood. When Jake exposes her real identity and address, Elizabeth shrinks with fear and pleads for him to have mercy. 40’s, white, a cubicle-dwelling office drone. Bob is a straight arrow. He wouldn’t even know how to break the rules. He takes his job as a supervisor for Verizon very seriously and panics when he’s accused of monitoring another employee’s home line, leaving him vulnerable to Jake’s scam. DAY PLAYER

18 to play high school, white, pretty. Popular girl that Jake has an enormous crush on. While their lockers are close, Kayla doesn’t really notice Jake. DAY PLAYER

– male, 40’s, any ethnicity. A seasoned detective on the scene when Elizabeth Platt is SWATted. He hears her story and immediately reaches out to the FBU cyber squad. DAY PLAYER

female, 40’s, white. Dave’s suburban housewife. When Jake begins prank calling them at all hours of the night Pam can’t understand how Dave, who works for the phone company, can’t put a stop to the harassment. She quickly runs out of patience, and after a night or two of lost sleep becomes a force to be reckoned with. DAY PLAYER.

30’s, Hispanic. Overweight with a neckbeard. Spends his days on his computer or on the phone – lording over people in the fake worlds of online games and party lines because he’d be too timid to do the same in the real world. Rodrigo lives in his mother’s basement. He’s in Larry’s phone hacking, bullying, SWATing crew. Rodrigo does Larry’s bidding and is the one who makes fake 911 calls when they want to SWAT someone. DAY PLAYER

male, 35-45, black or white. A bill collector by day, a phone scammer and man-child by night. He’s on Larry’s crew and uses databases from his job to find people on the party line and SWAT them. He’s only a bully when he has Larry to back him. DAY PLAYER

50’s, any ethnicity. By the books high school teacher who has little patience for fooling around in her classroom. DAY PLAYER

male, 50’s, white. An accountant in a cheap suit or shlubby clothes. Ace’s social connection is through the party lines. One of the few people on the lines who doesn’t fully become someone else but keeps his moderate, calm persona. He mostly calls in out of boredom or amusement. He likes listening in on the lines while he works on his excel spreadsheets or plays solitaire. UNDER 5

40’s, white, bland. John is in the Asset Protection Division of Verizon. He spends his days in a cubicle fielding phone calls and working on the computer. Has a closet full of short-sleeve business shirts. UNDER 5

Male, 30’s-40’s, any ethnicity. Local police officer who is following up on a report of animal abuse. He’s polite, but firm. UNDER 5
