Lennon (female 16): Lennon’s got mild cerebral palsy and an attitude that’s even fiercer. After she clocks the school bully in the face, she’s shipped to DSA (disability support alliance) to deal with her "anger management issues"—because apparently punching people is frowned upon. She’s sarcastic, constantly pissed at her able-bodied peers, and low-key judges everyone at DSA too. Oh, and she’s constantly competing with her able-bodied (and gorgeous) twin sister, so cue the emotional chaos. Together the girls are quite a handful for their single father. Can Lennon stop burning bridges before she’s stuck on her own island? LEAD. Please audition all 3 scenes.

Lola (female 16): Lennon’s fraternal twin; Lola’s traditional good looks keep her from being taken seriously. Lola struggles with relationships, due to not being able to tell if she’s getting attention for the right reasons. Loves to bug her sister Lennon, and thrives on embarrassing her any chance she gets, but also is extremely loyal. She can tease Lennon, but no one else has that privilege. Lola has a clear path for her life, to get out of small town living. But will meeting someone new entice her to discover a new side to herself that could change everything? LEAD. Please audition scenes 1&3

Joey (male 17): Joey’s life is all rock ‘n’ roll, girls, and a heaping dose of "don’t mess with me." Paralyzed in a crash thanks to his dad's drunken stupidity, he rolls through life with a massive chip on his shoulder, deflecting pain with guitar solos and sharp comebacks. He’s sent to DSA (disability support alliance) after getting caught hooking up with a TA. His baggage? Heavy. His growth? Even heavier. Will Joey finally drop the attitude or just keep strumming through the mess? RECURRING. Please audition scene 2

Dylan (male 17): Dylan’s got the surfer dude vibe with a side of serious daddy issues. His dad’s tough-guy routine has him questioning who he really is, and things get worse when Lennon punches him in the face over a bullying comment. Add to that the awkward reveal that his dad and Lennon’s mom had a fling—cue major drama. Dylan’s caught between a fistfight and family secrets—will he come out on top or sink in the mess? RECURRING. YOUTH MINISTER DANIELS (MALE OR FEMALE late 20s): A man of God who has spent his formative years devoted to what he knows to be true. Minister Daniels is in charge of running the various support groups the church holds; AA meetings, the DSA and the newest group: An LGBTQIA+ alliance meeting. The minister's main dream is to connect with others, and inspire them to pursue an honest life. He used to travel all over the world, spreading his message to the masses, but had found peace settling in this smaller town. Will he long for adventure once again, or strive for a breakthrough with one lost soul? RECURRING. Please audition scene 2.

[INUK] Nancy is around 18 years old, bright, loving, creative, and fearless. A quiet soul but a bold artist and performer. She takes her time to warm up to people, and is not blind to the ways in which she is looked down upon, but she trusts her vision and that of her ancestors to help her rise above. Her personal style might be a blend of 1910s fashion with traditional Arctic dress.
