Storyline
Craig and Kevin are two talented pianists and close friends competing for the prestigious Chopin Competition. Craig is confident and charismatic, while Kevin is more insecure and overshadowed. Kevin’s girlfriend, Diana, manipulates this insecurity.
After a concert, Diana goes home with Craig and secretly drugs him, setting up a false accusation that he assaulted her. She pressures Kevin to go along with the plan to ruin Craig, believing it will eliminate his biggest rival and secure Kevin’s success.
Craig, confused and desperate, follows Kevin and secretly discovers their scheme. When he reveals he has recorded evidence, the situation escalates into a violent confrontation between the two friends.
In the final fight, Craig overpowers Kevin but regrets hurting him. Just as the conflict seems to resolve, Diana attempts to kill Craig with a metronome. Kevin sacrifices himself to save Craig, dying in the process.
The story ends with Kevin’s death, exposing the destructive power of jealousy, manipulation, and ambition.
