Storyline
Set in WWI France, four Black Canadian soldiers from the No. 2 Construction Battalion take shelter in a farmhouse -- only to find two wounded white Canadian soldiers already inside. What begins as a standoff at gunpoint becomes an uneasy alliance against an approaching German patrol. Over one night, loyalties, survival, and the cost of grace are put to the test.
