Storyline
Emily's dream is to become a writer but she lacks support to pursue writing as a profession from her mother. As a result she sneaks out of Chinese school to meet with a local writer, hoping to get her short story published in the magazine that he edits.
Roles
Role type | Role | Gender & Age range |
Lead | Emily Yang | Female 15 - 20 Years old |
Description Tough, aggressive teen, though not in a loud way - warrior of the pen and the tongue, perhaps. Emily aspires to be a novelist, idolizes F. Scott Fitzgerald, capital- Romantic at heart. Baby-face: talking to her is to be ready to be yelled at by an overgrown kid who grew up reading the thesaurus for fun.(Actor should look 15/16ish, English-speaking role but bonus if they know a bit of Mandarin.) |
