Storyline
A Bollywood-obsessed student, adrift after her father's death, escapes into musical dance sequences and cinematic fantasies about a classmate — until reality shatters her fantasy world and forces her to confront the difference between movies and life.

Description
A sharp-tongued Indian international student from Delhi who grieves her father’s death. Displaced in Canadian culture, she shuts people out and escapes into Bollywood fantasies complete with musical numbers. By the end of the film, Simran grows from a dreamer avoiding reality to someone who can face it with strength. A role requiring an actress who can blend comedy, sharp wit, and emotional vulnerability.

Note: Role requires an actress fluent in Hindi with dance experience (Bollywood preferred) for music sequences. Singing experience is a plus but not mandatory.
