Storyline
My Mother’s Tongue follows three generations of Polish women who reunite in Poland for a practical trip to claim a modest inheritance. A misguided mushroom-foraging excursion unearths buried resentments, inherited baggage, and the tangled bonds between mothers and daughters.
Roles

Lead | ALEKSANDRA | Female 18 - 28 Years old |
Description Female. 18-28. Polish Canadian. Anxious and chronically overwhelmed, she battled her self-diagnosis, unmedicated ADHD, something that both complicates her world and heightens her gift for turning into the emotions of others. Compassionate, sensitive, and imaginative to a fault, she tends to see life through a romantic, idealized lens. Her restlessness is as much about longing as it is about identity. She's in the messy, electric process of becoming.Must have valid passport for travel. Must speak fluent English with a standard North American Accent. Beginner Polish (or better) a strong asset but not mandatory. Comedic Skills a strong asset but not mandatory. |
