Storyline
Success-driven businessman JAMES sets his sights on acquiring a quaint community ceramics shop for a lucrative redevelopment project. Its owner, LILY, cherishes its local legacy and refuses to sell. As tensions rise, James faces ethical dilemmas: close the deal at any cost or lose his job and reputation? Will his ambition outweigh respect for community values or will Lily’s determination protect the heart of the town?

He’s not inherently a bad person but working in the cutthroat world of business has corrupted his priorities. He’s apologetic when he gives Lily the citation, instantly regretful when she admits she’ll lose her business if they get shut down, and eager to make things right when he decides to start a fundraiser to save her shop. | ||
