Storyline
On New Year's Eve of 1999, Rufus, a Louisiana mayonnaise peddler must keep his business alive until the new millennium starts in a few hours. As he wallows in his fast approaching bankruptcy, a spokesman from a big ketchup company offers him financial security at the cost of his mayo dreams. Wanting to start the new year off with a bang, our hero refuses to take the deal unless he's beaten in a drinking competition.
