We can accept union and non-union actors through our student agreement with ACTRA. This is a non-paying student film and no permit is required. Actors will receive a copy of the finished film for their demo reel. Food will be provided on set.
Storyline
A strain of once common house mould has become deadly. Homes and belongings are destroyed in a frantic attempt to contain the outbreak. Lenny, a (now) black-market exterminator, works for families desperate to hide their infestations from the authorities. In his latest job, he’s caught in the struggle between Kim and her ailing mother Anna. Kim won't let the house go, Anna is in outright denial while in the damp basement, grows something with plans of its own.

She worries about going down the same lonely trajectory as her mother, and beneath her pleasantries, hides a strong desire to get ahead, no matter the cost to those around her. | ||

Description Calvin is Anna’s neighbor. Since his retirement, he has found himself at loose ends and uses his volunteer position as leader of the neighborhood watch to fill the void. Calvin fears that mold in the neighborhood could lead to a drop in housing prices. When he notices Lenny’s suspicious behavior at Anna’s house, he is quick to investigate and call the authorities.
