All roles for the historical reenactments and stylized medical recreations are non-speaking. Talent will be portraying a minimum of two characters throughout the episodes.
Due to the medical nature of these stories, several re-enactments will involve the use of props and prosthetics to simulate procedures. If any talent has skin allergies (e.g., to latex) or allergies, casting requests to be informed in advance. These scenes feature historical medical practices with period-accurate props like crude instruments, apothecary tools, ritual items, and herbs. Some stories include fake weapons (e.g. spears, swords, rifles).
WARDROBE: There will be an even mix of covered clothing (representing Europe and Asia) and more exposed wardrobe for ancient scenes (Egypt, South America, India, the Mediterranean, Neolithic, Stone Age, etc.). For WARDROBE: Women: Bare legs, arms, shoulders, and clavicle. Men: Tunics, togas, or loincloths, with bare chest, back, arms, and legs.
MAKEUP: Seeking talent without modern hair dyes, highlights, or painted fingernails.
TRANSPORTATION is not included, NO SHUTTLE from Toronto.
***Talent should have NO VISIBLE TATTOOS. Small tattoos that can be easily covered are acceptable***.
