Casting Workbook's Film School Outreach Program swings into gear
with student training happening at Humber College North & South,
Niagara College, Toronto Metropolitan University, Sheridan and York University.
Third Year, Final Year and GRAD students will be given
supervised access to the Casting Workbook so they can find actors for
their short film
projects.
Benefits To Actors:
- Self-Promotion: Many student films are submitted to and screened
at film festivals in NA and beyond
- Experience: Beginning FTV actors can get audition and on-camera
experience
- Demo Reel Scenes: All actors receive a copy of the final film
- Networking: Work with future film-makers who will one day be
making hiring decisions
- Philanthropy: Give Back to the Industry and elevate a student
film
by donating your acting expertise
The film schools listed above have opted into an agreement with
ACTRA. Please submit both UNION and Non-Union talent. ACTRA permits
are not required for actors
working on student films. These are non-paying projects.
