Hi everyone, I am looking for young (5-10yo) boys and girls (who like to sing!) for the roles of JJ and Cody in a new animated series from Atomic - CoComelon Lane! This animated pre-school series will run 72 x 7-min episodes, and recording to start this Fall in Vancouver. I am only looking for kids for this role. Talent must be Canadian/PR and live in BC. And as always, I'm looking to cast authentically, so for Cody, please only submit kids who are Black. There is also a tonne of singing in this show as well! So please also have each the kids also submit 15-20 sec singing “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star”. Please have talent sing in character and just have fun with it! Thank you so much! Storyline
CoComelon Lane is a musical series based on the popular preschool Youtube channel. In the town of Cocomelon, baby JJ and his friends go on fun every-day adventures full of play, exploration, and learning – situations that any preschooler could relate to. Fun, relatable stories set to toe-tapping songs.

JJ is industrious and helpful, always ready to chip in and be included in the activity at hand. He wears his emotions on his sleeve. Sometimes JJ can be sad, upset, frustrated, but usually these feelings are fleeting and quickly give way to happiness. When JJ makes a mistake, he doesn’t dwell on it. Description LOOKING FOR 5-10YOs TO VOICE THIS ROLE*Please only submit talent who can authentically portray Black. Cody is JJ’s best friend and next door neighbor. He is a naturally curious but cautious kid who loves dinosaurs more than anything. He’s more reserved than JJ but always warms up quickly, becoming enthusiastic about everything. Cody’s curiosity gets him asking lots of questions, especially about “why” things are the way they are. Cody is also very excitable and wears his emotions on his sleeves. He likes plans and numbers, and routine and structure. In playing with JJ and the other kids, Cody has become more flexible and go along with what other kids want to do, not just what he wants to do in that moment. Cody has an excellent memory and will grow up to be very punctual. | ||
