Storyline
This is a first responder educational video (situational dramatization) acting alongside non-actors playing themselves (members of a non-profit organization in Vancouver, BC). The video is meant for release on the non-profit's social media pages and website for training and information to the public.

Description "Mom" is a Persian mother to an older neurodivergent teenager who has gone missing. "Mom" reports the situation to the police and is later reunited with her daughter in a forested area. This role will be all exterior shots.Note: There are no scripted lines for this role, and will be improvised on set with non-actors playing themselves. In your self-tape, play to the camera and report your missing teenager to police as though a police officer has approached you at home on your driveway. Do a separate take where you have been reunited with your daughter after some time has passed. | ||

Description The "Adult Caregiver" is on a hike with a neurodivergent young man who they care for. The "Adult Caregiver" experiences a medical emergency and falls down. The young man calls 9-1-1 for help.Note: There are no stunts involved in this role. This will be shot as a dramatization of "falling down". Please DO NOT actually fall in your self tape audition. There are no scripted lines for this role, and it is entirely movement-based. For the self-tape audition: you are hiking, and experience a medical event that would cause you to "fall down" and be unable to call for help yourself. | ||
