CASTING CALL – Contemporary Dance Duo
Seeking:
2 dancers with a strong contemporary dance background and exceptional partner work.
Requirements:
-lifts may be required, but connectivity between the partnership is essential.
-Dance duos who already work together are a bonus.
-Must showcase strong chemistry, body awareness, and the ability to create stylistic, picture-worthy moments together.
-Movement should be elegant, stylized, and expressive, with a focus on facial expression and storytelling.
-Best suited for silhouette and slow-motion work.
-Must be comfortable with contemporary choreography in close proximity with a partner, demonstrating authentic connection, resistance, and presence.
Qualities:
Strong sense of technical body lines, and shapes.
Ability to create visual storytelling through minimal but powerful movements. Must have a presence that draws you in with intrigue and uniqueness.
