We can accept union and non-union actors through our student agreement with ACTRA. This is a non-paying student film and no permit is required. Actors will receive a copy of the finished film for their demo reel as well as meals and transportation if needed during filming. Parents will have to be present for any actors that are minors.
Storyline
When Massimo, a ten year old, decides to skip going home to spend the day with his best friend Nico, the two end up experiencing an afternoon of childhood mischief, laughter, and adventure. Yet when his mother finally comes to take him home, Massimo is forced to confront the painful reality he has been avoiding: his father, who has been seriously ill for months, has returned home in critical condition, forcing him to find the courage to face this new familial reality.
