Joe, a nine-time boxing champion, was framed for using performance-enhancing drugs after defying powerful interests in his pursuit of a tenth title. His reputation collapsed overnight, and he was banned from competition. That same night, his daughter Anna was killed in a car accident, sending him into a downward spiral.

Years later, Bella and her daughter Mia enter his life. As Joe grows close to Bella and comes to see Mia as his own, he finds the strength to start over.
