We are accepting non-union submissions. This is a non-paying student film and no permit is required. Actors will receive a copy of the
finished film for their demo reel.
- Meals and beverages will be provided on the shoot days.
- If transportation is required, we can arrange for a ride for the actor during filming.
- Filming location has a cat on the property although the animal is not involved in filming. Please let production know in advance if you have allergies or concerns so we can accommodate you.

Two girls struggling to come to terms with their feelings for one another recount a burning forbidden love from the past, realizing their stories parallel one another in ways unimaginable. Written in the Ashes is a gothic romance with a supernatural twist, with the goal of highlighting a queer story.
