Storyline
In a peculiar coffee shop Sophie, an aspiring author timidly speaks with a kind barista, Bess who inquires about Sophie’s novel; or lack thereof. After Bess serves Sophie her latte, Sophie begins noticing clues that lead to a mysterious door at the shop’s rear, which pulls her two years into the past, to her parent’s conservatory. There she meets her late father, which allows her to finally get closure around his death and clarity on his acceptance of her sexuality, empowering Sophie to reenter the coffee shop and approach the barista who she was too shy to ask out before.
