We can accept union and non-union actors through our student agreement with ACTRA. This is a non-paying student film and no permit is required. Actors will receive a copy of the finished film for their demo reel. Meals and transportation will be provided.
Storyline
A patient with advanced Alzheimer’s prepares to celebrate his birthday — only to discover that his long-term caregiver is his spouse. An emotional story that speaks out for people with or involved Alzheimer’s.

Description A celebrated former archaeologist, a shadow of his former self, a man who has succumbed to his advanced Alzheimer’s. At times temperamental, other times cheeky and humorous — we can see glimpses into the intellectual that he once was. Description A youthful man who does not look his age, Phillip is George’s longterm caregiver and eventually revealed to be his husband. A voracious reader, patient and kind — he has watched disease claim love of his life over the past few years. On the whole, Phillip is patient and understanding, but the disease has tested him and we can also see this. He yearns for one last moment of lucidity from his husband whose condition is advanced.
