This is the horror short story of Malia, a troubled young painter who, a week before the exhibition of her portrait, goes mad because she can’t make it as perfect as she wants. She becomes obsessed with painting and repainting those blue eyes. This obsession grows with the tension of the story and Malia's gradual loss of reasoning, until she literally loses her sight and gives her own eyes to the portrait. In this story with Dorian Gray's taste, the loss of reason and sight of what is essential is explored in favour of irrational obsessions.
