13-14, bright-eyed, full of excitement. anxious guitar player. Mixed Race A young teen on his own for the first time on the road with his crazy father. He acts as a foil to his childish dad. He eases the tension in a room through jokes and his warm personality. Looking to rebel to seek his father’s approval because he’s a bit of a nerd.
Linda
40s, alcoholic, cat-lover, a bit off-the-rails. Open Diversity Linda has been through a lot. Her relationship with Dad verges on toxic and she’s been a bad drug influence. With zero understanding of boundaries or adult responsibilities, to Jesse she seems absolutely evil. However there’s a reason for every choice she makes. Dad ain’t perfect either.
Alex
15-16, rebellious, apathetic, socially awkward. Indigenous Her dad’s a drummer but she doesn’t give a damn about the music industry. Appearing to have the whole world figured out, she quickly becomes fascinated with the innocent way Jesse sees her. She has a relatively sunny disposition for a total nihlist.
George
A withdrawn young man who's just moved into a new home with his single mother, Connie. Recently graduated from university, he is now aimless and jobless. He spends his days under the spell of depression, his only respite being the saxophone. His relationship with his mother is intimate, as the only child of a single mother, and they go about their quiet daily routine in close proximity. But since moving, the increasing pressure from his mother to help with the house has caused strains in their relationship, as he continuously avoids his filial duties. When he begins to hear noises coming from the attic he becomes increasingly paranoid, especially as he notices Connie behaving suspiciously.
Connie
George's mother. A caring, hard-working woman. Though she loves her son, his lack of support has begun to frustrate her. Since moving, she has taken care of the renovations herself and she is exhausted. Not only that, she is dealing with some sort of unspecified grief, and it’s through this routine that she copes with it. She is also hiding a secret from her son - that she has begun to take care of a squatter living in their attic, who needs their help. She’s found great meaning in taking care of someone in need, and once the secret is out, she grows even closer with the squatter, who has begun to help out around the house. Despite still caring for George, she has shifted her focus to the squatter, who is making her life enjoyable again.
Nico
A mysterious, reserved and deadpan squatter who's been secretly living in the attic of Goerge and Connie's new home. He is a polite and unassuming guest, grateful to Connie for her generosity. There are no signs of malevolence in his behaviour, despite George’s mounting suspicions. It’s unclear whether his actions are manipulative, but he gradually takes over George's place in the household.

Of Hispanic, South or Central American descent. MUST SPEAK FLUENT SPANISH, A tough warden of an El Salvador prison. SHOOTS EARLY NOVEMBER
Guard Rivera - Fluent Spanish
Of Hispanic, South or Central American descent. MUST SPEAK FLUENT SPANISH A tough senior prison guard of an El Salvador prison. Must be available for a one-day shoot in August and a shoot in early November
Inmate Rodrigo -Fluent Spanish
Of Hispanic, South or Central American descent. Must speak Spanish Fluently An MS-13 gang member incarcerated in an El Salvador prison. Tough, but intelligent. Must be willing to get a buzz-cut, and wear temporary tattoos.(Or have own tattooss) Must be available for shoot in early November.

ANTONIO/ANTONIA NAVARRO
A Spanish professional, efficient legal contact based in Gibraltar who previously handled Maggie’s annulment filing. They assist Cal by promptly arranging to send key documents related to Maggie’s past marriage.
NORMAN
Quirky, obsessive, and eccentric, Norman is the president of the Allison Chandler fan club and Allie's biggest fan. The Selena St. Cloud Mysteries are Norman's religion. Even though he may have stalked Allie in the past, she knows he's well-meaning, and he has a special place in her heart.
PETER
Handsome, brooding, looks like a lumberjack, Peter is Allie's ex who bitterly resents her for being more successful than he is. A failed playwright, he complains about everything at the town meetings.
DANNY CALLOWAY
Obnoxious, Danny is the owner of a local car dealership, and he gets electrocuted and dies in his hot tub
DEAN
Dean is a podcaster whose show has taken off due to the spate of murders that have come to define Founders Cove. Although his show is popular, Allie finds him slick and overconfident. Allie thinks she sees through his charade and firmly believes that he staged the perfect murder, live in front of millions of viewers, to fake his wife's suicide. Dean may be hard to take, but ultimately he's innocent.
SERVICE TECH
Handsome, friendly service tech who hands Allie her car keys at the local car dealership.
TAMMY
Tammy is affectionately known as the Founders Cove cat lady and was a source of inspiration for one of Allie's books.
CARL
Seems to be a friendly and upbeat cable foreman overseeing the noisy fiber-optic installation project in Founder’s Cove however the truth is he is a member of a robbery scheme posing as a cable foreman.
JOEL DECKER
A quietly dangerous member of the cable crew, seen closing in on Allie and Andi with a pistol, ready to kill...only to be unexpectedly taken down by a mysterious figure before he can act.
MELODY
