Sascha
AUDULTING AUTHENTIC CASTING, ACTRESS MUST BE AN OUT TRANS WOMAN A fiery, determined young woman on a mission to forge her own path. Moving out on her own for the first time, she’s driven to prove her independence and embrace her identity. Yet, alongside her excitement, Sasha faces a new and unexpected fear—the vulnerability of living alone as a woman. Her complicated relationship with her parents, especially her mother, adds another layer to her journey, as she confronts the challenges of self-reliance while seeking acceptance. Fiercely committed to living life on her own terms, Sasha is learning what it truly means to stand alone.
Brian Harris
ADULTING WHITE Sasha’s slightly balding, respectable father, whose calm demeanor and easy-going nature provide a steadying presence in her life. Supportive of both her transition and her decision to move out, Brian approaches fatherhood with quiet pride and understanding, giving Sasha the space to grow while remaining a source of unconditional encouragement. His laid-back attitude contrasts with the more intense dynamics in Sasha’s life, making him a comforting and grounding influence.
Lara Haris
ADULTING WHITE A fiery presence, embodying a mother’s fierce protectiveness. While she loves Sasha deeply, her hesitance and skepticism about Sasha’s choices stem from a place of concern for her safety and well-being. Lara’s cautious nature often clashes with Sasha’s independence, yet her worry is rooted in a heartfelt desire to shield her daughter from harm. Her passionate, no-nonsense approach to motherhood makes her both a formidable force and a deeply caring figure in Sasha’s life.
Joshua Kemel
ADULTING ANY EHENICITY Sasha’s seemingly ideal roommate: patient, empathetic, and always ready with comforting advice when her confidence falters. He quickly becomes a steady presence in her life, offering the kind of support that feels genuine and unshakeable. Yet beneath his warm exterior lies a hidden darkness—a secret that Sasha, in her quest for independence, will uncover in ways she never anticipated. Denis
BEAT THE CLOCK Quebecois. The tough former biker and grizzled maintenance man at the apartment Alana is vacating. Clad in grimy janitor’s overalls, he can always be seen carrying a corroded metal toolbox filled with tools that have clearly seen better days. He has a rough exterior and no-nonsense demeanor that seems harsh, but also fair.
MOVER
THE ROSEMONT STANDOFF White Quebecoise An older mover is trying to get things done but is starting to feel a bit frustrated with the waiting involved. The delays in getting things moving are testing their patience, making the process more challenging than expected.

Wife
- Open to all ethnicities. - If you are close to the age listed that is also fine. - Ideally under 6 feet tall. - Actor should present as someone who is capable of working on the farm — practical, self-sufficient, strong. - Personality of character is confident, unpretentious. - She is often amused by her husband's playfulness but (gently) unimpressed.
JAY
Male, South Asian, 26 years old. Ideally looking for twins but open to all submissions. To play two roles opposite each other. JAY - A 26-year-old researcher for Knowledge AI, Jay is a highly educated but (slightly) autistic and quiet man who has spent his entire life prioritizing his career above all else. Shy and reclusive, his identity and sense of self are completely intertwined with his work. That said, against his usual personality and at the suggestion of his only friend Caroline, he reports KnowledgeAI to the US government, believing it is the right thing to do. This marks the first time he does something for an unselfish reason, an action for which he is immediately punished by death. Thus, he finds his morality constantly tested: feeling unfulfilled and immoral when engaging in his work, and not receiving any gratification when doing the objectively right thing to do. At his core, Jay desires a sense of identity outside of his work, which drives him to get to the bottom of the cloning scheme. JAY 2.0 A confident, outgoing person with deep loyalty to his company. Willing to speak for himself and make alliances strategically, he is the exact opposite of the original Jay. Completely unaware that he is a clone of the original Jay, he shows wholly capitalistic behaviors and makes statements in support of KnowledgeAI after the whistleblowing scandal. He is the perfect hypnotized employee until he finds out that he is a clone, at which point he is torn between his loyalty to his company and his frustration towards how his company has treated him and his body.
FRANK
He has no bottom line—only survival—and is driven purely by profit. Joe’s former coach and an accomplice in framing him years ago, he launders money for Scott, arranges underground fights, and even kidnaps Bella and her daughter, with the blood of many fighters on his hands. He seeks to control Joe, but when Scott is finally arrested, he is the first to step forward as a cooperating witness.
MARTIN
Scott’s lackey and a spoiled heir of the Martin Group—arrogant, despicable, and a bully who preys on the weak. He has committed every kind of wrongdoing.
MIA
Mia (8-11) A kind and lively little girl who is fond of Joe and longs for a father figure.
BARRY
Mia’s biological father—a compulsive gambler and a despicable man. To repay his debts, he sells his ex-wife Bella to Martin and even kidnaps his own daughter.
SCOTT
The ultimate antagonist and the mastermind behind Joe’s downfall. Ruthless and defiant, he is a man of few words but extreme brutality. He became the new boxing champion by defeating Joe through conspiracy, not true skill. His confidence comes not from real fighting ability, but from his status as the son of powerful capital. Driven by an intense need for control and a violent nature, he craves honor as a way to satisfy his deep narcissism. Athletic.
SUNILA
South Asian, female, 20-30. Sunila is a 25-year-old keyholder at a trendy retail store. Sharp-tongued but soft-hearted, she has a strong sense of liberal values rooted in social justice. A late bloomer, Sunila’s job has slowly become her life, introducing her to a world of attention, confidence, and sexy self-invention that she’s still not sure she can pull off.
CLARA
Female (35-45), any ethnicity, is a stay-at-home mom who lives and breathes for her family. In her mind, her value is a reflection of her family’s success. If they are happy, fed, and thriving, she feels complete. Because of this, she negates herself from having personal desires, as it makes her feel like she is betraying her role. She got married at 18, never dated anyone besides her husband (living a pretty bland, vanilla sex life), and spent her whole life taking care of her family. She has 2 kids, Charlie (14) and Luna (9). In the series, she will find herself working at a sex shop after her husband leaves her and doesn’t provide any support. She will eventually rent her basement to Sage. This new chapter in her life will force her to explore her desires, wants and needs for the first time. She is uptight but open to trying new things. Every time she steps out of her comfort zone, she policies herself back in for fear of disrupting her family life. Performer must be comfortable with an intimate scene. Intimacy Coordinator will be engaged. Looking for comedic actors good with facial expressions and physical comedy
SAGE
Female (25-35), any ethnicity, is a sex shop clerk who treats intimacy like something transactional. She believes that detachment equals safety and if she’s clinical and “over it” she can’t be hurt or rejected. Because of this she has a pretty open and free way to see desire and sexuality, without the pain that intimacy can bring. Sex is a means of pleasure more than connection. She’s always open to new experiences and is not afraid to ask for what she wants, or say what she thinks. Looking for comedic actors good with facial expressions and physical comedy
