FRENCH STUDENT

Paediatrician/Family Doctor
OLSON
[HANK OLSON] Male, any ethnicity, Over 18 to play 18 years old. A crafty-looking kid with blond hair and arms as thin as pencils, Olson is one of the boys competing on The Long Walk. He's something of a chatterbox as the boys all meet before the Walk, and he appears confident, if a little callous, and seems very knowledgeable about the Walk.
BAKER
[ARTHUR BAKER] Male, any ethnicity, Over 18 to play 18 years old. A tall, pimply boy with a sense of humor and a southern accent. Baker is from a dirt-poor family in Baton Rouge and is one of the young men competing in The Long Walk.
BARKOVITCH
[GARY BARKOVITCH] Male, any ethnicity, Over 18 to play 18 years old. A small, intense looking boy with a sharp, rodent-like nose, Barkovitch is a bit of a know-it-all and one of the young men competing in the Walk. A man with a plan who's not as smart as he thinks he is, Barkovitch remains obnoxiously cocky through most of the Walk, causing friction with the other Walkers.
PARKER
[COLLIE PARKER] Male, any ethnicity, Over 18 to play 18 years old. A burly tough looking guy, Parker is another boy participating in the Walk. Parker can be overly aggressive with anyone who crosses his path and will take any opportunity to use profanity while speaking.
HARKNESS
[HARKNESS] Male, any ethnicity, Over 18 to play 18 years old. A gangly boy with a crew cut wearing horn rimmed prescription glasses, Harkness has longed to do what has never been done, write a book, a first hand account of the Long Walk, from a walker’s, and hopefully winners perspective.
LARSON
[LARSON] Male, any ethnicity, Over 18 to play 18 years old. A tall boy with a shaved head and wearing a red striped track suit, Larson is Arizona’s participant in the Walk.
PEARSON
[PEARSON] Male, any ethnicity, Over 18 to play 18 years old. Asthmatic and wearing jeans that are too big for him, a bowling shirt and horn rimmed glasses, Pearson mostly keeps to himself on the Walk. When the loneliness starts to get into his head, he rejoins some of the other boys.
CURLY
[CURLY] Male, any ethnicity, Over 18 to play 18 years old. A skinny teenager wearing sweatpants, Curly is the first to get his ticket on the Walk.
PATRICK
[PATRICK] Male, any ethnicity, Over 18 to play 18 years old. Wearing a plaid shirt around his waist, the stress of the Walk hits Partick and madness descends on him in a mutinous way.
PERCY
[PERCY] Male, any ethnicity, Over 18 to play 18 years old. Another of the walkers, Percy is embarrassed early on but his mother's exuberance. Once the pressure of the walk sets in, Percy tries to find refuge where her can.
EWING
[EWING] Male, any ethnicity, Over 18 to play 18 years old. Alabama’s participant in the Walk, Ewing, doesn’t last long before getting his ticket.
RANK
[RANK] Male, any ethnicity, Over 18 to play 18 years old. After being berated by Barkovitch, Rank decides to stand up for himself, starting a fight on the Walk.
TRESSLER
[TRESSLER] Male, any ethnicity, Over 18 to play 18 years old. The wild card for the Alaskan Territory, Tressler’s body starts to give out on him, causing him to become delirious and strip down naked before choking and collapsing, earning him his ticket.
