Emily
Female, Early 20s, open ethnicity. Emily enters the nursing field with optimism and a keen sense of helping. She's bright, eager, and perhaps a bit unprepared for the emotional toll her new job at the care home will demand. Over time, she balances her initial enthusiasm with the practicalities and compassion required for such a role, quickly realizing the gravity of her position.
Cheryl
Female, 70s-80s, open ethnicity. A resident of St. Michael's Assisted Care Home, Cheryl is a headstrong and spirited woman who fiercely maintains her independence. She's battled through life with a mix of stubbornness and humour, and even in her advanced years, she's determined not to be seen as weak or helpless. Her strong will is both a defence mechanism and a means of preserving her dignity in the face of aging. Despite this tough exterior, Cheryl is deeply affected by her situation — the loneliness of the care home and the longing for her family's presence.
Receptionist
Female, late 20's, open ethnicity. This young receptionist has matured rapidly through her experiences on the job. She handles her duties efficiently, showing a maturity beyond her years. Her frequent encounters with loss in the care home have impacted her, subtly diminishing the enjoyment she once found in her work, and instilling a more solemn demeanor in her day-to-day interactions.
Simon
Simon is that one smart friend, he's a bit reserved and doesn't always show his true feelings immediately, he prefers spending his time working on projects rather than relaxing. Unlike his friend, Simon has become more skeptical of Donnie's crazy theories, yet despite considering Donnie immature at times he still deeply cares for his friend, he has just grown more mature compared to Donnie.
Donnie
Donnie is energetic and aloof, despite his age he's still a child at heart and is always trying to make his friend Simon laugh or get on his same level of energy over his ideas and theories. He has a love for conspiracy theories, believes most things at face value and he still thinks that Bigfoot and other cryptids are real. Unlike his friend, Donnie still thinks him and Simon are on the same wavelength and hasn't caught up to Simon's disinterest in his immature antics. You will have to put on a wig and dress towards the end of the film given that this is Donnie's plan to attract the Aliens.

Tommy/Donnie
Tommy/Donnie, the enigmatic protagonist, is a lanky, stammering, impulsive prison escapee whose plan to skip town takes an unexpected turn when he meets Joe. His devotion to her overrides his usual tendency to flee from life's challenges. He wants nothing more than a fresh start following the accidental tragedy that landed him in jail but a better prospect comes along: a fresh start with someone alongside him. Joe
Joe, an assistant building manager, is a charismatic and fiery woman who finds herself caught up in a whirlwind romance with Donnie. Joe's character is marked by a sharp wit, sarcastic humour, resourcefulness, and penchant for laughter and dancing. She’s daring but clever, necessary traits for surviving under the brutal fist of her uncle. Her hatred of him and sudden infatuation with Donnie drives her to finally take her life into her own hands and free herself from the misery that surrounds her. Sweeper
Sweeper, the crime family's discreet operator skilled at handling unsavoury tasks, hides her distaste for the work under a veneer of polite congeniality. She may be good at her job but she knows when she’s in over her head. As an enforcer, it’s Sweeper's job to physically overpower people—someone who is a larger bodied person, and/or muscular is a plus. SUPPORTING
Mrs Whynot
Mrs. Whynot is a resilient senior confronting the daily challenges of living alone with worsening memory loss. She mistakes Tommy for her son, Donnie, and he ends up kindly taking care of her. SUPPORTING
Mic
Mic, loyal to his Uncle LL, serves as the crime family's muscle and contraband trafficker. The young thug makes up for his low intelligence with brute force and cutting remarks. SUPPORTING
Silverman
Silverman--cosplayer, busker, bodybuilder, and the neighbourhood superhero. He’s a germaphobe neat freak with a robotic personality who believes his silver makeup prevents his body’s decay. Physically fit and muscular actors encouraged to apply. SUPPORTING
Freeman
Freeman is a whimsical, hedonistic, and morally ambiguous exotic animal dealer and supplier of black-market drugs. SUPPORTING
Compliance Officer
A no-nonsense building inspector in housing development, the Compliance Officer is stoic and unflinching in the face of threats or pushback. She embodies unwavering professionalism. SUPPORTING.
Lawrence
Lawrence, a ferocious young troublemaker, disrupts the neighbourhood's peace with his dangerous pranks and mischief.
Holly
A vocal resident of the neighbourhood who never gets her way.
Security Guard
A nerdy security guard, contending with a lack of respect for his authority, navigates challenges at his multiple posts throughout the city.
Jiang
East Asian A newly graduated Chinese International student who is trying to identify herself by make her own way as an artist while struggling to gain financial independence from her parents. Fluent in Mandarin is a must. This role has scenes of smoking (herbal cigarettes available).
Laura
A carefree and cheerful friend and co-worker of Jiang, who cares for Jiang but cannot comprehend the struggle she is going through. This role has scenes of smoking (herbal cigarettes available).
Michael
A trustworthy authoritative figure for Jiang but isn’t as invested in her future.
