NORA is the quick-witted, nosy, and loyal friend and assistant innkeeper to Elise. Although Luke declines the offer, insisting on staying at the Apple Hill Inn, Jared is thrilled to have him back home again so they can catch up and relive some of their fondest childhood memories.

TED is the kind, professional loan officer in charge of handling Elise’s loan request. He grew up with the Apple Hill Inn and, although he has fond memories of his time spent there, he can’t approve a loan for a business that isn’t profitable. Ted gives Elise some advice he believes her grandparents would want her to hear and explains the parameters that need to be met for him to approve the loan. He hopes with all his heart that she can meet them.

CANDACE is an intuitive and fun-loving friend to Luke. When she isn’t working as a teacher, she helps her husband out at the Landover Tavern. Upon hearing that Luke is taking time off work, she has strong suspicions that something is wrong. She insists that Luke comes back to Landover to spend time with herself and her husband, Jared.

CHUCK is the dedicated but shy electrician working after hours on the Apple Hill Inn, trying to help Elise out. He warns Elise that his fixes are only temporary and that they need to have the electrical work done soon. Although he might be too shy to show it, he carries a flame for Nora, the assistant innkeeper.

LEANNE is Donna’s secretary. Although she likes Donna’s son, Luke, she reports to Donna and does her best to fulfill her superior's wishes.
