Through her journey, she goes from being a victim to a mentor and a source of hope for Nell.

LEAD - NELL: Female 20s. Nell is a complex and conflicted young woman in her 20s struggling to find her place in the world. With a difficult past marked by poverty and neglect, she is desperate for a sense of belonging and security. She wants to survive, find purpose, and escape her past. Her desire for a better life and need for human connection motivate her. However, her loyalty to Troy conflicts with her growing feelings for Emilia and her desire to change her life. LEAD:PETE: MALE 50-60. A kind hearted homeless man who always looks out for the wellbeing of others around him, even if it means he goes hungry. He believes that when you are kind, things will always come back around to you. WARDROBE: Tattered, worn clothing. Mark’s suggestion — this guy Vince Groulx is a seasoned Toronto actor and a friend - and has expressed interest in working with REIDframed - could be a good fit.

LEAD - TIMOTHY: Male 25-35. Timothy is a smartly dressed, wealthy businessman. He has a kind nature, and is deeply moved when he witnesses the kindness of Pete. But it also deeply troubles him… how can someone with nothing be so giving? WARDROBE: High end business attire.

LEAD - HELEN: Female 50-60. Timothy’s mother and business partner. She is very wealthy but has a secret past of humble beginnings. She tells a story to Timothy that he’s never heard before, about being homeless on the streets. She was helped by a very kind homeless man who got her back on her feet. WARDROBE: Smartly dressed, high end, classy..

SUPPORTING - MARCY: Female 30s. Marcy, like her good friend Pete is also homeless. Pete has helped her out many times and is forever grateful to have a friend on the streets like him. Upbeat sense of humor. WARDROBE: Tattered, worn clothes.
