CLARA
Clara is a warm, nurturing woman who embodies the spirit of small-town kindness. Whether she's working at the B&B in Stowe or volunteering at her church, she can't help but offer practical assistance and emotional support. Known for her gentle wisdom and quiet strength, she's the type of person who can instantly make anyone feel at home. She has a maternal aura, always ready to lend a helping hand or a listening ear, making her a pillar of support for those around her. Whoever plays Clara should be able to deliver wisdom in an authentic, down-to-earth manner as she shouldn't come off as humorless and/or preachy. Open Ethnicity
OLIVER
Rachel was the original name in script - she is now OLIVER. 30-50's Abby’s manager, a polished and charismatic man who’s always thinking about PR and image. Oliver is smooth, calculated, and very much the Hollywood type, reminiscent of Robert Evans in his prime. Because he's so focused on his own reputation and career, the actor who plays him should have comedy chops so he doesn't simply come off as a one-dimensional conflict plot device. Yes, he's a smooth talker, always looking for the next opportunity to boost Abby’s—and by extension, his own—career, but we can't help but laugh as he delivers those smooth lines. Open Ethnicity
