Micah
Micah is a model and influencer though he’d be hard-pressed to tell you exactly what that means or what he does but he has a LOT of friends on LiveJournal, thousands and thousands who read his blog and gaze at the self-shot photos he posts with each journal entry. What he doesn’t do is practice law, however good he may look in a three-piece suit on a billboard advertising his legal services. The real Micah has no idea his name, faultless face, pretend degree andpedigree are being used to swindle a trio of callow Christians in Greater Napanee. He’s too busy partying, journaling and taking selfies before there was a word for it in nearby Toronto. Mission: To find someone who truly ‘gets’ him, a soul mate. Fatal Flaw: Mirror, mirror on the wall. PREPARE JAPHETH SIDES

Nancy Keller/Lawson
28 years old, gentle, intelligent, and kind-hearted. Formerly a rising star in the culinary world, she was renowned for her creative fusion cuisine. She stepped back from her career to care for her unborn child and her family, enduring sacrifices that were taken for granted. Under Joanna’s instigation, Vivian’s disdain for Nancy grows, leading to extensive insults, even affecting young Harry. Diagnosed with terminal stomach cancer, she retaliates against any mistreatment with double measures to protect her feelings and regain justice. When she applies the remaining time to rebuild her culinary career, she receives goodwill from Ethan and Tyler and overcomes all the obstacles set by Joanna. She wins the contest again and successfully establishes her restaurant. When she finally realizes that her symptoms of nausea and eating difficulties were not due to cancer but a new pregnancy, she is initially bewildered. However, faced with Ethan’s sincere love, she chooses to give their relationship another try.

Preoccupied with his career and misled by others, he initially fails to see the injustices Nancy faces at home. Once he becomes aware, he steadfastly supports and protects Nancy, prioritizing their relationship and her career above all else. When Tyler emerges, driven by jealousy, he makes more effort to showcase his love for Nancy. Despite her asking for a separation or even divorce, he relentlessly pursues her, ultimately regaining her affection.
Joanna Mitch
Ethan’s childhood sweetheart and a famous food influencer on Instagram, 26 years old. Her father provided crucial support to Ethan during the tough early days of his company. After losing her own family, she became Vivian’s goddaughter and moved into the Lawson household. Harboring feelings for Ethan, she presents herself as innocent in his presence but is manipulative and cruel behind the scenes. She tries to turn Vivian and Harry against Nancy and keeps bullying her, hoping to take her place. She even steals Nancy’s ideas and recipes to boost her social media following and employs every deceitful tactic to sabotage her career. Her true colors are eventually revealed.
Vivian Lawson
Ethan’s 54-year-old mother. Stubborn, sharp-tongued, and often interest-driven. She is deeply discontented with Nancy, who becomes a homemaker, and believes that Joanna, with her more prestigious background, would be a better match for Ethan. However, as she begins to recognize Nancy’s new success and feels the distance growing between herself, her son, and her grandson, she eventually changes her stance and accepts Nancy and Ethan’s marriage.
